The KFU University is accredited by the National Center for Academic Accreditations and Evaluation
On the date of 7-9-1441 Hijri corresponding to 30/4/2020 , King Faisal University accomplished the full unconditional institutional academic accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation as a result of the university’s applying of all quality requirements in accordance with international best practices that is reflected positively on the development of the quality of the educational process and the academic environment for all university employees which contributes for the University to meet the requirements of achieving the Kingdom's vision "2030"
The university is classified among the top eight Asian universities in the “International Strategy” category at (THE Awards Asia)
King Faisal University was nominated among the top eight Asian universities in the Times International Higher Education Awards for Asia for the "International Strategy" category during 2021, with the participation of more than 200 higher education institutions from various countries of the Asian continent. This award is given to institutions of higher education that are distinguished in building international institutional partnerships, and the institutions that follow qualitative strategies in internationalization and polarization distinguished academics and international students

King Faisal University was nominated among the top eight Asian universities in awards and nominated among the top eight Asian universities in the Times International Awards for Higher Education Asia Continent for the “ideal workplace” category for the year 2021, with the participation of more than 200 higher education institutions from different countries of the Asian continent
This award is granted to distinguished higher education institutions in creating an exceptional and attractive environment for its employees, as the KFU University shared the methodology that used in receiving and qualifying new university employees that assist them to integrate into the university community and the surrounding one for providing a positive and supportive environment for the employees
The KFU University is nominated in the final list for the "sustainable institution "(Green Gown)
King Faisal University was nominated in the international final list in the “Sustainable Enterprise” category during 2021 Green Gown Awards, which are granted to institutions with outstanding initiatives and projects in the fields of sustainability. This achievement is the reflection of the university's development of its institutional identity aimed at contributing to achieve food security and environmental sustainability requirements
King Faisal University received the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in the fifth session for the category of public higher education at the Bronze level during the year of 1442 Hjri-2022
The winning of King Faisal University comes among 11 facilities qualified for the last stage out of 69 government facilities that advanced to the awards of the fifth session, in which the field is available to the government sector and the non-profit sector according to the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to achieve excellence in government services, and enhance the role of the non-profit sector in sustainable development
This achievement comes as series of the successes achieved by the university since its establishment in order to serve its goals and messages which reflects on the development of the university in its performance and services based on its vision into knowledgeable future
